About 222
Nobody should have to carry it alone.
222 helps veterans keep an eye on each other — quietly, on their own terms.
The program
222 is a peer-support app. You check in with how you’re doing, and you choose up to 3 buddies — people you trust — who agree to look out for you.
When you’re having a rough time, you decide whether your buddies hear about it. If they do, they get a gentle heads-up that it’s a good moment to reach out. The app also puts the Veterans Crisis Line one tap away.
222 is peer support, not therapy or a medical service. It sits alongside the care you already have.
Our partnership with The American Legion
222 is built in partnership with The American Legion. Legion posts host events where members can meet in person, and local businesses and organizations that back veterans can offer support and member offers through the app.
Your privacy, in plain words
- We never share your check-ins. They are for you.
- Your buddies see only what you choose to share with them — never the details of your check-ins.
- We don’t sell your data.
- We only send news and offers if you say yes, and you can stop them anytime.
- You can delete your account in the app.
